Stage 4: – Way to the Highlands – Kilchurn Castle
Coming back to the Main island and driving to the north, we visited the ruins of Kilchurn Castle (cover picture of our Lonely Planet Guide Book). On the path to the castle, we found some curiosities:
And, at the end of the path, it lies the ruins of the castle, built in about 1450 by Sir Colin Campbell, the fist Lord of Glenorchy.
